Hubungan Antara Pola Makan Dengan Status Gizi Balita Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Penana’e Tahun 2021
Abstract
Based on the performance of the Ministry of Health in 2020, it was found that nutritional problems in toddlers were still high, namely the percentage of stunted toddlers at 11.6%, the percentage of infants less than 6 months who did not receive exclusive breastfeeding as much as 44% and toddlers with poor nutritional status and less reached 9%. Based on data from the Bima City Health Office, the number of toddlers suffering from malnutrition is 14%, while in the PKM Penanae Work Area it is 20% and stunting is 20%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between diet and nutritional status of children under five in the Penanae Health Center Work Area in 2021. The research design used a cross sectional approach, the sample of this study was 40 mothers with children aged 2-5 years. Samples were taken to represent each of the Penanae Health Center Work Areas in the City of Bima, NTB. The research questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability for parents to see the child's eating patterns every day for a month. Measurement of stunting using Microtoise and nutritional status were determined using the WHO Anthropometry calculator version 3.2.2 to obtain. Variables in eating patterns were divided into eating frequency, children who had breakfast, children who skipped meals, and children who snacked. Nutritional status is divided into stunting, malnutrition and poor nutrition. The results showed that the prevalence of nutritional status consisting of stunting, poor nutrition and malnutrition was 5%, 10% and 2%. Variable eating patterns, namely the frequency of eating has the highest percentage of 82%. This study found a relationship between frequency and skipping meals with nutritional status.
